January 29th, I went to choose a furisode (long-sleeved kimono) to wear for my coming-of-age ceremony. The coming-of-age ceremony I plan to attend will take place in January next year. I wore 6-7 furisode then. They were all adorable and fashionable. I don't know what clothes suit me! I'm very indecisive and I was very lost. I am looking forward to the coming of age ceremony.

I'm really having trouble with my blog because I haven't left the house lately because of all the snow. Let's me tell you about my CASEC score. I took CASEC on January 20 at 3:00 p.m. Am I being encouraged? While I was solving the problem, sleepiness overtook me. And the last time I took CASEC, I could answer some of the questions because I was studying for the Eiken at the time, but this time I do not know anything at all! When the results came in I was astonished. It was 80 points less than last time. I was very shocked. I am so frustrated that I want to reread my English vocabulary book from high school. Are you satisfied with your CASEC results? Please tell me.

Let me tell you about how to make a piano with origami! Origami is a traditional Japanese toy. Every Japanese child has played with it. In the past, origami used to be plain, but nowadays, more and more origami is coming with cute patterns. By the way, I have one myself. Origami is square and can be transformed into anything. When I was a preschooler, boys used to make shurikens which weapon of ninja, and I used to make tulips, hearts, and chairs. I like music, so this time I will make a piano!  You want to make it, then get a sheet of origami! You can make it with a square piece of paper, but in my opinion, you should use a blank piece of paper on either side of the back because you can write original keyboard.  1. I have been struggling for blog posts lately. Let's talk about the events of January 19. At lunch, me and four friends went to Komeda Coffee Shop. It was the second time we had been there, and the first time since our last summer. I ordered the same dish as last time. Last time I couldn't eat it because it was too much, and I asked my friend to eat it. But this time I ate it all! It was delicious! You wouldn't know it from the pictures, but these are very big. I had miso ramen with my mother for dinner at Apita in Kameda. (I took a photo, but it was not saved!) After eating, I looked around Apita. And I bought two clothes. I am looking forward to wearing them.

January 7th, my mother and I went to Niigata Arts and Culture Center called us Ryutopia. This is the place where I had performed when I was in the brass band. I felt nostalgic. There was a concert going on there and we went to hear well-known violinists play. A packed audience, I felt their popularity. They played about 15 famous songs. It was a very valuable experience.

A Happy New Year! How did you spend winter vacation? I met my junior high school friends. A friend R who will take the exam next year to become a nurse said, "Let's get together during this winter vacation, because I will be busy." We ate monja-yaki and okonomi-yaki. I used to go to this place when I was in junior high school, and it had been a long time since I was there, so I felt very nostalgic. Five-sevenths gathered this time! After we finished eating, my friend R, "I want to go to karaoke!" Since we were there, we went to the karaoke bar next door. I think we sang about five songs each. We had so much fun! After having a good time, my friend R drove me and the other three back home. This is my best winter vacation memory this year.

 How did you spend Christmas? Let me tell you about my Christmas in 2022. The day was Wednesday, December 21. Classes are held every Wednesday until 18:00. My mother drove to pick me up because I was coming home late. I get in the car and there it is, the big one...! Yes! A biiiiiig bear!!!!!! This bear is the same sitting height as me! I was surprised when I got this. I was happy because it had been a long time since I had received a gift from my mother. How did you spend Christmas? Have a wonderful end of the year.

On December 7, I went out for lunch with my friends. The place we went to was Grazie Gardens. Three of us went. The following is what I ate. I forget the name of the dish, but this was on the lunch menu and was inexpensive. One had pizza and one had pasta. The pizza eater said, "The amount is too much, I'm suffering..." I would like to go out to eat with the five of us this time, as we don't have a chance to get together for lunch because of cancelled classes and illnesses.

     My artifact is a keychain which shows bread being toasted. This one pictured not only toast, but also a small jar of honey and a butter knife. In addition, the toast is already covered with butter and honey. It looks delicious. Its color is mainly yellow. In detail, it consists of many yellows, browns, whites, blacks, and grays. It is made of plastic. It is about the size of a palm, larger than a ping-pong ball and smaller than a baseball.      I first encountered my artifact on April 1, when I was a second-year high school student. On that day, I went to Bandai City with three friends I had made in my first year. It was the first time for me to go out with these members and I was very excited. We walked around the stores, and if something caught each other's attention, we all stopped and said, "This is so cute!" and so on.   Look at these pictures. They was taken in December 2nd. Our winter started on this day. On that day, a lot of snow suddenly fell and my friends and I were very excited. On the way home that day, the thermometer showed 0 degrees. SO COLD!!! It has been cold lately, do you like winter? I want to stay home all winter. I still can't stand the cold, so I am worried about the coming winter. Oh, I want to hibernate...

On November 26th, I participated in a bus tour. This bus tour is one of the curriculum of "Niigata Prefecture's Local Production for Local Consumption" in the third period on Mondays. It was a very enjoyable day, and I will share it with you all! Our trip started at 8:45. At the time, I said, "I can't believe I'm leaving home at the same time as the day I have first period." I got on this red bus. The bus was larger than planned and had stylish lights and chandeliers inside. Before the bus departed, a miracle happened to us. We looked out the window at the sky and there were two rainbows! Can you see two reinbows? First of all, we went to visit the snow chamber at Uonuma Brewery. And we also went to Bourbon to see their snow chambers. Novenber 19th, I went apple picking with my father. I went to Sato apple orchard in Gosen in Niigata. Picking apples in this area is not allowed. At Sato Apple Orchard, customers choose their own apples and pick them themselves. I went there two years ago in October. Two years ago, we learned that sweeter apples do not appear until November. We took only "Fuji" which is a sweet variety and in season in November. But the bigger and glossier apples had already been taken by other customers and we had a hard time finding them. My father and I said, "Maybe that one would be good." and we picked 6 to 7 apples each. (Actually, my father took most of them because I was not tall enough...) It was a lot of fun. When we got home and ate the apples, we picked ourselves, how sweet they were! We still have some left at home and are looking forward to eating them.

Novenber 5th, I went to Aeon Niigata Minami to see a movie with my friend. The movie is ARASHI Anniversary Tour 5×20 FILM "Record of Memories". It was a screening of a video of a live concert, so I felt like I was going to a live concert. After I saw it, I wanted to go to a live concert. Now I have a lot of movies I want to see. "Suzume no Tojimari", "Sayounara konbanha", "Tuki no michikake", and so on. However, I have no time and no money. So, I probably will not be able to see the movies. Link of the picture

Novenber 3, I met my friend who had been in the same school from elementary to high school. She is now studying economics at a university in Niigata Prefecture. First, we went "&Cafe". There are lots of sweets. We ate "Chocolate Banana Croffle". We didn't know where to start eating but it was so sweet and delicious! I talked with her about a lot of things. She told me that her university is now online classes three times a week. I hadn't talked to her in a while, so it was a fun time. Next, we went for the new Starbucks "Strawberry & Velvet Brownie Frappuccino," which I had always wanted to try. I think I could have had a sweeter one, as I have a sweet tooth. She was worried about stomach upset, so she drank a café latte. We had done everything we wanted to do, but needed to stay near Niigata Station until the fireworks started, so we decided to go to karaoke. October 26th, I ate udon with my friends. We went to "Marugame Udon." It was too far to walk there, so my friend drove us. Thank you my friend, Otoha! I ate Curry-udon then, but I usually have Kake-udon. I like the soup of Kake-udon. Later we went to McDonald's because we wanted something sweet. I ate McFlurry. I was really full, but I was able to eat it all. What is this phenomenon of being able to eat even when you think you are full?😏

On October 24, I had lunch with my friends. We went to a restaurant called Saizeriya. Everyone ate salad, pizza and pasta. I loved the mozzarella cheese pizza.
