#8 Snow Chamber Tour
On November 26th, I participated in a bus tour.
And we also went to Bourbon to see their snow chambers.
This bus tour is one of the curriculum of "Niigata Prefecture's Local Production for Local Consumption" in the third period on Mondays.
It was a very enjoyable day, and I will share it with you all!
Our trip started at 8:45. At the time, I said, "I can't believe I'm leaving home at the same time as the day I have first period."
I got on this red bus. The bus was larger than planned and had stylish lights and chandeliers inside.
Before the bus departed, a miracle happened to us. We looked out the window at the sky and there were two rainbows!
Can you see two reinbows? |
First of all, we went to visit the snow chamber at Uonuma Brewery.
And we also went to Bourbon to see their snow chambers.
Bourbon's Snow Chamber Chocolat, released last week, is made here.

At lunchtime we went to "Uonuma-no-sato" (Uonuma Village).
The Uonuma region is famous for its rice, but we had soba noodles for lunch.
After lunch, we visited "Snow chamber of Hakkaisan".
I wanted to buy some souvenir for my parents. However, I did not have enough money to buy at that time.
I still remember how delicious the soft-serve ice cream and shrimp-scented soup I there had were.
Later we toured the snow chamber at Kitchoraku.
Everywhere I went, I received many souvenirs, and I was very happy.
Also, it was the first time I had gone somewhere by bus since junior high school club activities, so it was a lot of fun!
Thus ended a journey of about 8 hours.
Hello, Risa.

I want to visit Uonuma too.
Hello, Risa.
返信削除I too participated in an off-campus training program on local production for local consumption in Niigata Prefecture!
I learned a lot by actually touching a snow chamber!
As you can see in the picture, I also had soba (buckwheat noodles), which was very tasty and satisfying.
